Our Mission
LUDIC offers adapted recreational activities for young people with learning difficulties or special needs, supporting their development, growth, personal fulfillment, social participation, and the social participation of their families.
LUDIC highlights values of collaboration, accessibility, flexibility, adaptability, inclusion, and respect for the needs of its members.
The organization’s activities aim to give young people opportunities to
experience success and joy, helping them build confidence and strengthen
their self‑esteem.

Our History
LUDIC is a non‑profit organization that has been active since 2001. Brick by brick, the organization has grown through the many events you’ll find in our timeline.
First activities
Activities begin at Patro Le Prévost, in the Villeray neighborhood, with the first activity session for children aged 5–10.
Incorporation of GymnO Montréal, GymnO Montréal becomes an incorporated community organization recognized as a charitable organization.
New Programs Added
Launch of a new program for youth aged 10–15 in Villeray.
New Programs Added
Launch of an adapted sports program for youth aged 8–12, and a parent‑child program for ages 3–4.
Adapted After‑School Program
Deployment of an adapted after‑school program at the Lucien‑Guilbault Educational Center (Completed).
Adapted School Program
Deployment of an adapted school‑based program at Calixa‑Lavallée High School for students aged 12–15 in a language‑support class (Completed).
Adapted Day Camp
Launch of the first edition of an adapted day camp for children aged 5–12.
New Programs Added
Expansion of the day camp to welcome youth aged 12–18. Launch of a new dance program.
Separation from the Fédération GymnO du Québec
Members vote unanimously to separate from the Fédération GymnO du Québec.
